Confidence Fitness TP-1 is an electric motorized compact treadmill with a foldable design that is suitable for walking, jogging or running in the comfort of your home. You can use it at home or office or anywhere you see fit by personal use or by anyone in your family, but not by lots of people at the gyms.
It can easily be folded up by holding the one end of running belt towards the display panel, roll it on its front transport wheels and put against a wall or somewhere convenient. The smooth and powerful 1 horsepower motor for this treadmill’s size offers enough drive for real speeds up to 6 mph. The range of speed is specified between 1mph and 6mph and you can adjust it via the control panel.
You have the Speed – and + buttons and the five quick speed buttons for 2 km/h, 4 km/h, 6 km/h, 8 km/h and 10 km/h as well as the Program, Mode, Start and Stop buttons. The blue LED-backlit display shows the distance traveled, time exercised, calories burnt and current speed. Users that weigh up to 242 pounds can jog or run on this machine with the sturdy steel frame, as the running belt measures 39 x 13 inches. You have 12 built-in preset fitness programs to choose from on the panel, which you can see on both sides of the large backlit LCD display that is easy to read and manage.
There is a red clip with a magnet security key for emergency stops and in case you fall off or drift back, that you can attach to your shirt or shorts. It has the cup holders on the left and right sides of the control panel. Confidence TP-1 weighs 57 pounds and measures 47 x 23.5 x 49 inches as assembled, and 49.5 x 27.5 x 25 inches as folded. We do not recommend oversized or overweight adults running on this compact treadmill with a 250 lb. user weight capacity and the 13-inch wide and 39” long running belt with average strides. It is designed more for lighter, shorter and smaller people but will be OK for larger people for walking or light jogging purposes.

This compact treadmill does not have an adjustable manual or auto incline and sits almost flat on the floor with a slight incline.

Despite being compact in size and designed for light adults it is a robust unit that is quite well made and with a reasonable price tag. It is not difficult to put together with the very easy instructions and simple tools included in the box. The Confidence TP-1 Treadmill is pretty good for its price: Sleek and modern design, nice looking, sturdy construction, foldable, 12 preset programs, 6mph speed, comfortable slight incline, quiet and smooth operation, easy assembly and more. It has all the bells and whistles and works well, as long as you are a petite person. It is covered with a warranty of 12 months by Confidence Fitness and a helpful customer support team. Overall it offers decent value for the dollar as long as you’re not oversized.
