Akonza Alpine Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Exercise Bike Review

Akonza Alpine Recumbent Exercise Bike

Akonza Alpine Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Exercise Bike

Akonza (Alpine) Recumbent Bike is a recent release model with a sturdy build quality and smooth, quiet and comfy operation with the dual way flywheel and magnetic resistance for a great low impact workout without having to leave your home. The foot pedals are not large but nicely padded for your comfort and come with the adjustable straps to keep your feet safe. It has a solid steel frame with powder coating to help protect it from scratches or rusting and to help it last longer.

The LCD display panel is easy to read and good size and includes the distance, calories burned, time elapsed, current speed, miles per hour, pulse through the hand grip heart rate sensors on two sides of the seat, ODOmeter for the total distance since its inception and scan that shows each indicator one by one. You can enjoy the 8 different levels of magnetic resistance so your workout is as easy or as challenging as you wish. It has a large and comfy cushioned triangle shaped seat to make you feel comfortable during a long session, is easy to sit on as part of a recumbent bike design that makes it easy to get on and off. It runs smoothly and quietly and there is no way you can disturb the people in your house and you can get yourself distracted by your music or TV show so you can workout longer. I find that whenever I listen to music or watch a video on YouTube I am a lot less bored throughout my workout session as time goes faster. It is built very solid and sturdy despite its low price, we can almost say it is gym quality, runs smoothly, has all the indicators you need on the display panel but no extra bells and whistles that you would get in the very expensive real commercial grade exercise bikes.

Akonza Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Bike

Akonza Recumbent Bike weighs 52 pounds and measures 11 x 21 x 32 inches so it is kind of smaller than it may appear in the photos (the seat measures 15.25 x 11.5 inches with a backrest that measures 12 x 14.25 inches and the seat is adjustable to accommodate people of different heights), so you have a fairly compact unit here. In the box, you will find the Alpine (Akonza) recumbent bike, the LCD console, instructions and simple tools for assembly. It is designed for non-commercial use at home or office and not for use at the gyms as it wouldn’t be suitable for use by tens of people. There will be no tipping or shaking during your workout thanks to its stable end caps. It can be put together in less than an hour and you can pretty much start using it straight away, as it is quite convenient and very easy to use. For example, those that are recovering from knee or joint problems can use this unit as part of a physical therapy as it is easy on the joints and also easy to mount and dismount for those with mobility problems. You can even sit down and do your own work while pedaling and burn some calories. Definitely good value for money!
