Black and silver Body Champ BRB852 is a recumbent exercise bike with magnetic resistance, which is especially recommended for those that don’t have a lot of time to get to the gym so they can use it before or after work, whenever they want, without having to get out of their homes.

Despite being competitively priced, it is a great quality bike with a sturdy steel frame, dual security knobs and offers comfort with the large and ergonomic seat that you can slide forward and backward and padded handlebars on both sides. It is easy to get on and off (mount and dismount) due the horizontal recumbent step-through design and this is good for those with knee or joint problems.

It runs very smoothly and you can benefit from different levels of intensity with 8 different levels of magnetic resistance and you will not need a power outlet thanks to the knob click resistance adjustment in the middle. LCD display panel has the speed, distance, time, calories burned, pulse / heart rate via the handgrip pulse rate sensors on both sides of the seat, scan, ODOmeter that shows the total distance traveled by the bike from the start.

Body Champ BRB852 weighs 59 pounds and measures 42 x 21 x 10 inches as assembled, will take up a bit of space due to recumbent design, but not too bad. It is easier on your hips and knee joints like any of the other recumbent bikes, being easy to mount and dismount, so you will be grateful for it.

As a solid heavy duty bike, it can have a total user weight of 250 pounds, which is more than what most people would weigh. The seat is pretty comfortable with plenty of padding and has a good backrest although we can’t see extra lumbar support. This is a solid bike that doesn’t feel flimsy at all- it is something you can use every day and does the job fine without the extra bells and whistles or technology you may or may not need.

There is also no bottle holder or smartphone / tablet holder as far as we can see, but being a recumbent bike you can imagine that you really won’t be needing them- bottle on the floor and the distance to where the tablet holder would be. It will need some simple assembly and the instructions are provided and may not be adequate for some but it is all pretty straightforward. Warranty on offer is one year by the manufacturer as a decent backup of its build quality. The price that you see on Amazon.com at the moment includes a special discount for a limited time and apparently the price will go up.
