Black Echelon Smart Connect EX1 is a high end indoor cycling bike for home or office use, with a premium look and feel and a very modern design. It is not suitable for commercial gym settings despite being a very heavy-duty fitness bike.

If you’re aware of the older original Echelon Connect Bike, this new Smart Connect EX1 comes with all the same advanced functions of the Connect. And plus you have the precision resistance motor, a 2.4V advanced device charging USB and the enhanced stabilization handle and seat post adjustments. It is rather heavy but compact in size with a modern upright design, a footprint of 3’5″ x 1’10” and does not take up a lot of space. You’ll still be able to get your intense workout without using much of your space.
It feels very stable and powerful and there will be no shaking or wobbling as you pedal as fast as you want. You need to plug it in and turn the tension knob to be able to adjust the resistance. The bike does not come with a tablet that you see in the photos. The instructions on the user manual are not the clearest for operation but the bike is easy to put together in half an hour. To get your statistical information like speed, calories burned, distance etc. and for the proper use of resistance you need the Smart app. And if the app crashes you won’t have resistance adjustments. You need to pack everything the way you received them and pay for the shipping back to them. Company promises five star customer service but we are not sure how that is in practice.
