It is comfortable enough thanks to the sporty seat that is completely adjustable for different heights and positions- to front and rear and down and up and the seat is cushioned enough but you can always use some sort of support or replace it with something more comfy. You have a small LCD display that shows the distance traveled, time exercised, current speed and calories burnt but no heart rate as the pulse sensors are not available on the handles. It includes a resistance dial in the middle that lets you change the resistance and as it is a belt driven unit you will be cycling quietly. You can not fold the bike due to lack of folding design but can be carried in your house thanks to its transport wheels (simple relocation and storage)- is not super heavy at 67 pounds but heavy enough due to solid steel frame and overall heavy duty construction that lets the bike carry up to 330 pounds of user weight and measures 43 x 20 x 43 inches, so it is 43 inch high rather than the usual 47 inches so it would work particularly well for not so tall.
30lbs flywheel is not huge but is good enough for smooth, quiet and consistent cycling experience. Steel pedals are designed so that your feet do not slip during cycling thanks to the toe cages. You can cycle sitting down or standing up to simulate the uphill climb and pedal in two directions, just like in a spinning class. We can see a water bottle holder and a metal water bottle on the photos for your convenience- you don’t have to get up to get some water. Delivery is often fast via Amazon.com and it will be shipped in good condition with the user manual and necessary tools provided and the assembly shouldn’t really take more than 30-40 minutes and maybe an hour if you’re not very good at putting pieces together. The LCD panel will need two AAA batteries to operate and they are probably not included in the package. It is quite a solid and sturdy, functional multi-adjustable bike that looks very sleek and modern so you can easily place it in the middle of your living room and watch your TV show or listen to music as it runs rather quietly. Thanks to the heavy duty crank system there is not major maintenance that you need to do with this bike so you don’t need to worry about that and overall and this is quite a nice product for the price. Merax is a good brand with decent quality fitness products at very reasonable prices.
