Nautilus T616 Treadmill Review

Nautilus T616 Fitness Treadmill

Nautilus T616 Treadmill

Nautilus T616 is a high-end commercial level treadmill with a powerful motor and an advanced smart display offered as part of the home treadmill line of Nautilus. This is a very new release on Amazon.com but has been around for a while with many reviews available online, most of which are positive.

It offers cutting-edge technology and a variety of user-friendly features at a fair price. The high-resolution blue-backlit LCD dual track LCD monitoring system shows up to 13 workout stats and 26 workout programs that include 6 Train, 3 Quick Goal, 4 Heart Health, 5 Weight Control, 3 Interval, 4 custom workouts, 1 Manual as well as 4 User Profiles to keep your workout stats separate.

The dual screen means you can watch your videos while monitoring your exercise progress (calories burned, distance traveled, workout time etc.) on the second screen. There is a media tray at the top of the console for you to put your smartphone or tablet. With the Bluetooth Smart LE Connectivity, your workout results will be synchronized smoothly with apps- My Fitness Pal, the Nautilus Trainer and the Nautilus Connect.

The in-console acoustic chambered speakers are rather good quality and offer big sound for you to listen to your music during your workout. There is a 3-speed adjustable fan, two bottle holders, a charging USB port so you can charge your smartphone, MP3 player or other devices and an MP3 input port. Your current fitness level is calculated after you complete your every session.

Nautilus T616 is compact and lightweight (215 pounds) and as a reliable and sturdy treadmill, it can support people that weigh up to 300 pounds. It has a large two-ply tread belt that measures 20 x 60 inches with 2mm thickness. The StrikeZone cushioning system and 6 Nautilus T616 Fitness Treadmill hex cell design offers plenty of comforts and takes the burden off your joints while you’re jogging or running as treadmills tend to offer a somewhat higher impact type of workout.

It has a foldable design with a SoftDrop design and you can move it away on its 2.75-inch crowned rollers. This is a high-end powerful fitness treadmill with a 3.0 chp motor that lets you jog and run at speeds of up to 12 mph, at an incline between 0 and 15 percent.

You can change the speed and the incline very smoothly for endurance training and be able to work on slightly different muscles. The LCD panel is obviously quite advanced but a little on the crowded side for beginners but they should get used to it pretty quickly. It is easy enough to put together with the instructions in the box but There are contact grip pulse rate sensors on the separate slim handles in the middle and you also get a chest strap included for hands-free use.

You have a great combination of performance, features, and technology with the new Nautilus T616. Warranty offered is OK but not lifetime, it is only one year on the labor, two years on electrical, and ten years for the motor and the frame. If anything goes wrong afterward you need to contact Nautilus via phone or email. Amazon offers an assembly service which you can pay for so that you cover your back if anything goes wrong during the assembly. It is not a cheap treadmill at all but you get what you pay for here and is better priced than some of the competitors.
