Nordic Track C 700 Treadmill
Black and gray NordicTrack C 700 is a high end, large and heavy-duty treadmill with a 2.75 horsepower motor, a very large multi-window console with a very nice design, that is very easy to use and intuitive. You can walk or run between the speeds of 0 to 10 miles per hour through the quick touch buttons on the right-hand side of the panel. And you can adjust the incline automatically up to 10 percent.
You can try and achieve your own workout and fitness goals through the 24 integrated programs that you can choose through the buttons below the LCD display that shows the calories, distance, current speed, time and heart rate through the pulse grips. One touch controls are great and you do not have to scroll through different settings. This is an iFit coach ready product and you can use Google StreetView to walk, jog or run anywhere in the world.
You can also use the integrated apps that are connected with the treadmill through the Bluetooth connectivity. It includes an auto breeze fan so you do not sweat too much during your workout and good quality speakers at the front. It is iPod compatible and you can connect your MP3 player and phone to the auxiliary music port and keep yourself entertained so you can go longer. You may also place your tablet on the integrated tablet holder on the console for watching videos etc.
NordicTrack C700 weighs 202 pounds and as a sturdy heavy-duty treadmill it supports up to 300 pounds of total user weight and measures 73 x 36 x 67 inches. The running belt is 55 inches long and 22 inches wide and you can take long strides and run as fast as you want and is suitable for very large people.
It has the unique and customizable Flex Select cushioning on the belt that you can turn on and off, to have a feel of running on the road or on a padded surface. It has a foldable design and with the Easy Lift Assist, you can pick it up and move it towards the console to save on space or move it on 1.9-inch rollers.
Warranty offered supports the great quality of the treadmill: 1-year for the parts and labor, 25 years for the motor and lifetime for the frame. This is not a low-cost treadmill by any means but when you think about the quality, functionality, features, comfort and user friendliness you are getting a very good deal. Other C series treadmills of NordicTrack are higher level and higher priced and the C 700 is at the lower end of the spectrum in terms of price. The 2.75 horsepower motor should support walking and jogging and some running but not heavy running every day.
It is nice to have the iFit compatibility, 10% auto incline, 55-inch belt length, 24 built-in programs, integrated cooler fan, music friendliness- iPod compatibility and decent speakers. Warranty offered is good for the frame (lifetime) and motor (25 years) but one year for parts and labor is not great at all. Nordic Track is also not known to offer the best customer service in the fitness industry last time we checked but they are probably working on that. Other than the small cons, this a good quality treadmill with some decent features at the reasonable price level concerned. You may definitely consider it if it is within your budget.
