Gray and black Proform Pro 1000 (PFTL99015) is a high end 2016 model treadmill with a powerful 3.0 chp drive system / Mach Z commercial grade motor for high level of inertia and the best performance when you’re walking, jogging or running, a 6 inch LED-backlit display that shows the time, calories, speed, mileage, pulse rate and other indicators, special proshox cushioning on the large 20 x 60 inch tread belt that will make it easier on your joints- ankles, knees and hips and a convenient space saving design despite the large footprint with the EasyLift assist functionality for the unit to be transferred easily. This is an iFit enabled with street views and satellite (Google Maps route) unit for you to monitor your data better or to even compete with mates all of which will help make the workout less boring, and you can make use of the great 22 different exercise apps, jog or run at 12 percent incline for training up the hill and at up to 12 miles per hour speed and with the quick incline and speed buttons you’ll not need to keep pressing it. This is obviously not a cheap treadmill but it appears that you’re getting very good value for money if you’re looking for something at the same level as the ones at your gym. Running belt is quite large, has even a CoolAire fan that you can turn on and up- low, medium, high and off if it is a bit warm in the house and will get warmer when you exercise, includes decent MP3/iPod compatible sound system and quality speakers so you do not have to deal with the wires of your headphones.

Nothing is cheap about this Proform Pro 1000, feels very solid and sturdy and definitely not flimsy and does the job well- what it is supposed to do as a very good quality treadmill, runs smoothly and quietly as the highest noise level will come from the fans. You can put your towel, water bottle and smartphone in the storage areas provided on both sides of the panel and integrated tablet holder. A total of 22 apps are actually pro level training programs designed by personal trainers and make the unit more user-friendly and much easier to use. If you’re a beginner you can simply start exercising by pressing the Start button and adjusting the speed and incline as you go, then you can go from there to try out different workout programs for your needs. The advantage of having the incline is it will let you do resistance training to improve your leg muscles, while you’re burning extra calories. With the EasyLift feature you can simply fold it up and get it out of the way, which is great if you don’t have a large home gym area- product weight is 222 pounds, with measurements of 83.2 x 30.3 x 11.2 inches and a user weight capacity of 325 pounds which should cover the great majority of adults. Shipping weight is around 250lbs is not hard to put together (with not the best instructions though) in a couple of hours or so and easy to operate with the built-in workout options. Please note that the Bluetooth functionality works with the iFit app and not for streaming music from your smartphone etc., which needs to be done with a cable. Speakers are like what you’d expect on a treadmill, not the best or the loudest but adequate if you turn it up a little. Being a great quality treadmill that is built with the best components and parts, it is offered with a decent one year of labor, three years of parts and lifetime motor and frame, so you have nothing to worry about if anything goes wrong.
