The weight options include 20lbs, 40lbs, 50lbs, 60lbs, 80lbs, 100lbs, 120lbs and 140lbs. for the total weights included with your purchase. These weights can be removed as you like. With the 100lb. package you will get the 33lb. x 3 weights included. You’ll get this weighted vest delivered to your address in multiple packages to avoid any damage during the transit.

The 100 pounds to 140 pounds maximum weight models have the 140 lb. as the maximum weight capacity. And you can add or remove 3lb. iron weights as you go. You can fill the empty pockets of the vest with weights that you can buy later on. If you purchase one of the vests between 12 to 80lb. the maximum weight capacity will be what you purchase. The Weighted Vest by RunFast/Max will nicely add resistance to your strength training, cross training or other routines you may want a weighted vest for.

This is a “One Size Fits Most” type strength training vest. Even if you are a big guy or girl the 140 lb. vest will be a bit long for you but will still offer a nice workout. It doesn’t matter so much whether you wear an XL size shirt. But if you are a small person then you’re better off with the lighter models. If you go for models below the RUNFastMax 12lbs-140lbs Adjustable Weighted Vest100 lbs, these vests come with the plastic bags that are filled with the sand like iron ore. These are also larger than 3 pounds and are a bit harder to remove or replace than the 3 lb. iron weights.

The shoulder pads have velcro on them and you slide them under the vest shoulders and adjust accordingly. If you don’t get the shoulder pads the vest is not necessarily uncomfortable but you’d need to adjust the fit on your shoulders. There are very sturdy waist and shoulder straps on the weighted vest that help you adjust to different sizes of waist or chest. The weights are located both at the front and the back of the vest, so there is balance when you’re walking, jogging or running. Shoulder pads that you attach with velcro only cost ten dollars extra at the time of this review. They are not padded but spread the pressure over a larger area. The warranty offered is one year by the manufacturer.
