Schwinn IC2 is an upright indoor bike with an innovative design, a large 31-pound perimeter weighted flywheel with a high intertia drive, an easy to use smart and simplified LCD screen, BioFit comfort handles with multiple positions and pedals with toe clips and adjustable foot straps.

The LCD display shows you the distance traveled, time exercised, calories burned, current speed, and rpm to help you keep track of your progress. You’ll feel safe and stable on its very large and sturdy steel tubing that is also resistant to corrosion. Even and smooth resistance is provided by the durable wool felt pad. You can adjust the level of resistance continuously and infinitely to simulate riding uphill, to improve the strength of your legs and burn more calories.

Shwinn IC2 has a decent race style saddle with the 4-way- fore and aft & up and down height adjustments. The handlebar can be adjusted two ways- up and down and the anti-slip textured pedals with toe clips and foot straps are also adjustable for different riders. A couple of customers commented on the pedals coming a little loose after a while and if this happens you just tighten them. There is a bottle holder to keep you dehydrated and you do not need to dismount each time you want some water. You’ll need two AA batteries (not included in the package) for the LCD display panel.

Schwinn IC2 (100424) Bike weighs 93.5 pounds and measures 45 x 23 x 49 inches. The maximum total user weight capacity is 250 pounds or 113 kg, which is 300 pounds on the IC3 model. You can also remove the pedal, clean any debris and put the pedals back on in case of any clunking noise. The highest inseam is about 38 inches and the lowest is 17.5 inches, inseam being the distance between the top of the saddle and the pedal at the lowest position.

Schwinn IC2 model is chain driven with a cover on it and the IC3 is belt driven. The saddle is not very comfortable for lengthy sessions and you may want to swap the seat or add some padding. It is a great value bike for the dollar, without the bells and whistles that cost a few hundred dollars more. You can switch the distance reading from km to miles. You can clean or wipe down the bike with a damp cloth- mild dish soap and water. You can certainly use this good quality Schwinn Bike on a daily basis without any problems. It offers simplicity, innovative and ergonomic design, comfort, and sturdy construction at a good price. The warranty offered is 5 years for the frame, one year for the parts and 90 days for labor.
