Schwinn M717 170 is a 2017 model modern vertical exercise bike with high-end features for helping you build your endurance and strength while burning calories and fat without having to get to the gym or outdoors in bad weather conditions. If you are familiar with the brand, Schwinn is one of the greatest manufacturers of exercise bikes with a history of more than twelve decades.
Black and gray Schwinn M717 is a heavy duty product that weighs 63 pounds that can have a total of 300 pounds of user weight with its sturdy and solid steel frame and measures 41 x 22 x 58 inches as assembled and will not occupy a lot of your room thanks to its vertical design. It is not foldable but not really necessary either, for the same reason and the convenient solid wheels at the front.
You can tell just by looking at the dual display panel this unit has great user-friendly features and the extra bells and whistles you would expect from a premium fitness product. It comes with a Bluetooth connection that you can use with the other Bluetooth-enabled smart devices- you can transfer data smoothly, also things like calories, distance and time info to a variety of fitness apps and the Schwinn Trainer app.

In the larger bottom section, you have the resistance buttons on both the screen that shows speed, distance, and heart rate, with numbers for the resistance levels from 1 to 25 at the bottom, Programs, Goal Track, Quick Start, Pause/End options. So overall you’re given enhanced visibility of your goals, programs, and other stuff.
There is a convenient media shelf, speakers for the music you may want to play, a USB port with the charging functionality for your smartphone or tablet and even a 3-speed fan to keep you cool during your workout. You have 25 levels of digitally controlled tension or challenge levels as part of different types of exercise you can enjoy with 29 workout programs with goal monitoring and four different manual user settings and this will help you stay challenged and motivated.
It is nice to have this many options to not get bored easily during your session on its contoured and nicely padded adjustable seats with very large pedals and handles, which is also helped by the entertainment and comfort features of the machine. Warranty offered is pretty good like the other Schwinn products and includes 90 days labor, two years mechanical, ten years frame, and one year electrical. You may, of course, have a look at your other options by Schwinn, like the cheaper AD2, AD6, MY16 230, MY16 130 and IC2 but this M717 170 appears to offer a bit more and then you have the more expensive M17 270 model.
