Sunny Health & Fitness SF-T7643 Walking Treadmill
Sunny Health & Fitness SF-T7643 is a brand new release, high-end, sturdy and stable walking treadmill with a 2.5 horsepower motor, a heavy duty build and 350 lb. user weight capacity. It has a conveniently foldable design, so you can fold and unfold it safely and easily with the soft drop feature once you’re done with your workout.
It weighs 143 pounds and measures 60.6 x 32.3 x 52.4 inches. The walking belt size of 19.5 x 43.3 inches is not too bad and you can walk or jog at speeds of up to 6 miles per hour, which is a bit less than 10kph. So it is not really for running but more for walking and light jogging sessions. The LCD display panel looks nice and neat and shows the time, distance, calories, and speed. And you’ll find the white buttons for Start, Stop, Speed -, Speed +, Mode and quick speed buttons of 1mph, 3mph, and 5mph. So you can get to the desired speed quickly and easily.
The treadmill is easy to fold and unfold with the soft drop hydraulic mechanism. So you don’t need to lift any heavy weight, you simply tilt it and roll it on its wheels for easy storage. It comes with the wheels at the front and you can fold it easily and roll it on the wheels- measures 39.5 x 32.5 x 53.5 inches as folded. You have a slight incline and no incline settings- can not be inclined manually either.
Although it is not designed for high speed running, it will give you the real feel of walking or jogging outdoors. The security handrails are a bit short but they are solid and comfy, being nicely padded. There is no pulse rate indicator and we can not see any pulse sensors on the handles. But you have the Scan mode to have these other indicators repeated continuously. In terms of features, it is a no-thrills type of bike without the extra bells and whistles but has a very solid and robust construction.
We reviewed quite a few Sunny Health and Fitness products and we know that they have very good quality fitness machines due to their network of some top manufacturers in Taiwan and China. This is a very good quality product, which you can tell by the long three years of warranty offered by Sunny. It is important that you read the user manual prior to use. Please detach the red security key when you’re not using the treadmill. Do not have your kids or pets near the treadmill at any time as it may cause accidents. And as another security precaution, please stand on the side rails before turning the unit on.
