Universal E40 Elliptical Training Machine

Universal E40 Elliptical Trainer

Black Universal E40 is a recent release high end elliptical trainer by Nautilus for a great totally engaging whole body workout in the comfort of your home or office with 7 pre-installed exercise programs, a large smart LCD display panel that shows more than the standard indicators and 8 magnetic tension levels for different degrees of challenge. LCD display works with electric power and you need the AC adaptor that you can get with the purchase of the unit (but also works with 4 D-cell batteries) and will help you monitor your progress whether you’re trying to burn calories or fat, to stay fit and in shape or tone and strengthen your leg or arm muscles and core, increase your heart rate- you will feel your muscles hurting nicely which is an indication that this works. It runs very quietly and smoothly with its high inertia and perimeter weighted flywheel (you’ll be pleasantly surprised with how quiet it works) and being a high end heavy duty elliptical it has a solid steel frame and Eddy brake resistance that will make you feel safe when you’re working out and has an ergonomic design with foam-padded handles that feel quite soft and non-adjustable 17.5 inch stride to level feet for uneven surfaces and for your comfort. Other than the seven workout programs of Fun Rides, Challenges and Mountains with a small diagram on the side that shows the difficulty level, you can customise your own program for your body’s needs.

Universal E40 Elliptical Trainer

Universal E40 Elliptical Trainer is not so hard to put together in two to three hours with well written instructions and illustrations and two wrenches provided, especially if you have a second person helping you, measures 56 x 23.7 x 64.5 inches when assembled and weighs 112 pounds as a solid and stable elliptical with a user weight capacity of a maximum of 275 pounds and has transport wheels at the front so you can roll it from room to room easily even though it is a heavy unit. LCD display console shows the distance, calories, time, speed, rpm, course profile, resistance level and pulse rate through the separate handles specifically for measuring the heart rate underneath the LCD panel. As an MP3 ready elliptical it has the integrated speakers and a plug in port so you can connect your sound devices. It includes a magazine stand where you can put your book or magazine to read during your workout but will cover the LCD panel and you can’t see the performance indicators and a cup holder if you wish to put your cup or bottle in but it is a little low and doesn’t feel very tough and should be better quality for the not so cheap price level of this unit. This is the upgraded new version of Schwinn A40 that costs less and overall this is a great elliptical machine for mainly home use. Nautilus is one of the major fitness equipment companies in the world with a history of over four decades with 4 well-known brands of Nautilus, Schwinn, Bowflex and Universal, each with very solid and functional products that were designed for home use but at commercial gym level and all their equipments- treadmills, exercise bikes, ellipticals and all inclusive home gyms are offered with long warranties along with unmatched customer support.
