Velocity Exercise Vantage Magnetic is a commercial quality high end rowing machine designed for home use- gym quality rower for your home gym and that uses a combination of air and magnetic resistance. It has a very large easy to read backlit digital LCD panel which is adjustable for height and that shows multiple programs, single piece light but robust aluminium slide rail for very smooth movement and super stability, 16 levels of automatic resistance that is continuous and smooth, thick padded handles and an integrated heart rate monitor. It functions very quietly and smoothly thanks to its advanced fan and flywheel structure and the nylon band, large soft and comfy seat will be good to sit on during long exercise sessions and supports your back well. You’ll find 12 presets, 5 programmable user profiles, manual, race and recovery modes and you can see the distance, time, calories, strokes, speed, watts and heart rate on the backlit LCD screen.
Velocity Magnetic is heavy and sturdy- weighs 83 pounds and measures 97 x 18 x 43 inches and although not very light or compact- larger size and weight also means solid build and durability (maximum user weight of 350 pounds) and it has a foldable design and can be carried around easily on the four built-in transport wheels. Heart rate monitor is an interesting one on this unit as it comes with a chest heart rate strap that communicates wirelessly with the LCD monitor and the resistance is adjusted automatically according to your heart rate- can go up or down. Foot pads are quite large and can be quickly adjusted to different sizes of feet. Aluminium slide rail is high off the ground- with the large folded seat 19.5 inches from the floor so getting on and off it is easier- good for your knees after a long workout. This is definitely a beautiful and sleek looking and premium feeling machine that will make you want to exercise more and the large LCD monitor looks impressive, is very well designed and very easy to read. Fiver user profiles enable five different people (if you have other people in the house that may use it) to record and monitor their performances separately. Instructions are not great but it is easy to set up in less than half an hour and pretty straight forward and fun to use with an easy to read LCD panel, looks awesome, runs very smoothly and quietly, feels sturdy and comes with a 3 year parts and lifetime frame warranty if used in residential settings and although not very cheap it is definitely great value for money.
