WALKINGPAD S1 Folding Ultra Slim Smart Treadmill
WALKINGPAD S1 is a very slim, compact and foldable under desk type treadmill with a 1HP, 550-watt power brushless silent motor for walking or jogging at the speeds up to 6kph. You can purchase it in either black or white colors and at the same price on the day of this review.
The WalkingPad S1 does not require any assembly and you can fold it in halfway and move it smoothly in and out of your living room or workout area easily and smoothly on its two bottom roller wheels to a convenient location like under your bed, sofa or desk. The materials used are metal and solid ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic and the total maximum user weight capacity is 220 pounds or 100kg.
There are two convenient operation modes for this treadmill, Manual and Automatic. You can use the remote control or the app on your smartphone for Start/Stop, on/Off & Mode Switch and Speed Up and Down. Or alternatively you can operate it by your footsteps to start or stop it or increase & decrease the speed. This walking treadmill comes with the high precision pressure sensor and the footstep induction speed control mechanism. You can step on the front zone to accelerate, tail zone to decelerate and stay in the middle for uniform velocity.
The non-slip tread belt is resistant to wear and has the multiple layers for reducing noise and letting you walk or jog in the office or at home without worrying about disturbing your colleagues, people in the house or neighbours. The multilayer structure also helps with a low impact workout to reduce the burden on your joints, knees, ankles, lower back and hips. There is a LED-backlit display on the dashboard on which you can view your workout data or just use the KS Fit app. Please note that the app works but is not the best with functions lacking and not sharing the activity with Google Fit.
The WalkingPad S1 comes with different built-in security functions like the overload protection, child lock protection, novice speed limit and auto standby functions. And you can have a peace of mind when using it. In the package you will find the WalkingPad S1, remote control, power cable, a silicone oil, a wrench and a roping. You’ll also get a CR2032 battery included in the box.
The S1 in the US is the same as the global C2 model but more like a new / updated version. We like that it is powerful enough (550W) and works quietly at a 60-decibel noise level, 3 smart control methods and comes with the integrated multiple security functions. August 28, 2021 is the date the WalkingPad S1 was first available at Amazon.com and it is ranked the 95th best seller among treadmills. The warranty offered is one year by the manufacturer and there is good customer service that answers your queries in 12 hours or less on average. It is not a particularly cheap treadmill but seems to offer good value for the dollar.
