Weslo Cadence G 5.9i Treadmill

Weslo Cadence G 5.9i is a new mid-range treadmill with a 2.5 horsepower impulse motor for working out at different speeds and doing different types of exercise by varying speed, intervals and endurance but mainly for weight loss and that can accommodate up to 275 pounds of user weight. It comes with iFit Bluetooth Smart technology enabled so by pairing your smart phone or tablet you can use the Google Maps routes to exercise on different terrains around the world and includes a large workout library along with comprehensive tracking. You’ll find 6 presets for max weight loss ability as they are designed by personal trainers and they help take the guesswork out. It has a layer of cushioning as support to your legs, knees and joints when you’re working out as the stride impact is absorbed at a maximum level and you have a rather comfy workout on its unique deck. Incline levels are adjustable to two positions but done manually not automatically and is good for increasing intensity. You can run at a speed up to 10 miles per hour (just like most other treadmills but you can do 0.1 increments) on its quiet and smooth moving deck with a size of 16 x 50 inches which is kind of not very big but adequate for what this budget unit is.

Shipping weight is 118 pounds with a maximum user weight capacity of up to 275 pounds and measures 64.5 x 55.5 x 29.0 inches for the silver and black Weslo Cadence G 5.9i, has a vertically foldable design and can be transported on its wheels and if you want to leave it in a fixed spot it already has a slim space saving design that will fit in smaller exercise areas (not bulky and modern and beautiful design but is certainly sturdy, solid and well built). It has a large blue tinted LCD display panel that shows the important indicators like speed, distance, time, calories and heart rate (put your thumb on the sensor) and two handles on both sides to give you support during your workout but they are a bit short so you won’t be tempted to hold them when you’re walking or jogging, whether you’re trying to lose weight by burning calories or improve your running performance. There is the standard security cord that you’ll see on all treadmills but it seems to be a little shorter than normal but not a biggie as you can hold the handrails. You will find a user manual for easy assembly and operation- you should be up and running in half an hour or so. Weslo is a decent fitness equipment brand with a just select few models as the company tries to focus more on the quality of these models rather than the quantity. Warranty included for the Cadence G 5.9 is 90 days for parts and labor and 1 year on the motor. This is designed specifically for weight loss and burning fat although it can certainly serve cardio, building endurance and other purposes and it is quite decent value overall.
