XMark XM-7630 is the solid, heavy duty, high end, adjustable dumbbell weight bench with a commercial grade strength (11 gauge 2 x 3 inch steel construction with baked powder coat finish that is resistant to scratches and with rust protection) seems like a very decent addition to any home gym for those that don’t want to spend a lot of money on gym memberships and want to work out in the comfort of their home. You will find a variety of benches at commercial gyms- flat, decline and incline for different types of exercises you want to do and you can have these different positions on a single bench in the comfort of your home when you purchase the right product. It is a heavy and sturdy unit that weighs 77 pounds (can carry a maximum weight of 1500 pounds which makes it great if you’re lifting very heavy weights), measures 52.5 x 22.5 x 50.5 inches when assembled with a 16 x 16 inch seat cushion and 33.5 x 11.5 inch back cushion. XM-7630-WHITE is the white model- you have two colour choices of silver and white.
It has a safe ladder style adjustment system by which you just lift the support bar with one of the handles and place it into one of the seven preset positions that are marked with angle which would help you monitor what you’re doing for a more efficient workout to achieve your muscle building goals. The seat is ergonomic and adjustable to three different positions with pop-pins and you can set it to incline position to provide more support and comfort for your lower back when the bench is at a decline position- no fatigue or discomfort. With the adjustable seat you may also adjust how far your knees are from the foot support bar. The advantage of having a foot support bar is it will keep you safe and fixed in place when you’re working out at a decline position, which may otherwise be risky and you can comfortably do power sit-ups with your feet locked in place. The base stabiliser bar includes convenient transport wheels so you can move the unit around easily and has bolted feet that are skid-resistant. XM-7630 is suitable for both in home gyms and light institutional settings and for beginners or advanced users or people at any level of weight training. XM-7630 bench is quite comfortable to work out on as it includes the very thick 3 inch duracraft cushions that are double stitched and tear and sweat resistant Duraguard vinyl.
You can easily go from full decline (with seat adjusted to incline) to upright military press position by adjusting to one of the seven different positions (angles of -20, 0, 20, 35, 50, 65, 85) and you can do a variety of different exercises for muscle building and strength training using free weights and varying sets and reps: Decline sit ups, Arnold presses, Incline bicep curls, Dumbbell rows, Dumbbell shoulder press, Decline dumbbell flyes, Side lateral raises, Incline dumbbell press, Seated hammer curls and Pullovers. At first glance it is a more expensive kind of workout bench but for the quality, durability and functions it looks like very decent value for money and is claimed to last a lifetime- comes with a lifetime in-home warranty that is not very easy to come across and XMark makes very good quality products. It is not that hard to assemble and comes with proper instructions and the necessary tools you will need. Drawbacks are very hard to find on this unit but if we must tell you the small cons, first would be the not so cheap price, the bulky heavy duty build (which is actually more of an advantage than a disadvantage) and that it doesn’t have a handle when you want to move it on transport wheels but you can always hold the foot support bar, lift it and wheel it. Awesome value bench for money!
