XMark Olympic EZ Curl Bar XM-3675 & Olympic Plate XM-3377-BAL-45
This is a combo offer for home gym use that costs much less than buying the included items on their own- the chrome XMark Olympic EZ curl bar XM-3675 and the rubber coated tri-grip Olympic plate XM-3377-BAL-45. You can also choose to get the 55lb total weight XM-3377-BAL-55, or the 65lb total weight XM-3377-BAL-65 weights, with your Olympic EZ curl bar, depending on your needs. The chrome bar will let you do your bicep and tricep curl exercises comfortably and you can easily change the grips that would affect the intensity of your workout. It is a heavy-duty product for the price with a net weight of 22 pounds, that can carry a total plate weight of 400 lbs and enables 28mm grip with medium knurling. The second part of the combo, the XM-3377-BAL-45 is a 45lb set that is made up of 2 x 2.5 lb, 4 x 5 lb and 2 x 10 lb weights, as the Olympic plates are coated with rubber and include recessed triple grip handles that fit nicely in the hand and can be loaded and offloaded to the weight rack or the bar thanks to the built-in finger slots. These are very good quality plate weights that are made of a single piece high-grade cast iron.
The curl bar is quite solid and sturdy with its 11 gauge 2″ x 2″ and 2″ x 3″ steel frame and chrome shaft (hard chrome sleeve with brass/copper bushing) and comfy to use with easy to grip surface but is mainly designed for home gym use and not commercial gym. The Olympic plates are coated with rubber that is resistant to peeling, cracking and splitting and will not damage your floors, and with a recessed center that will prevent your fingers squeezed. They are suitable for use with Olympic bars like the XM-3675 we’re reviewing on this page or you can simply lift them on their own with the integrated finger slots. There are many resistance training brands and products to choose from on the market and it may be a tough decision to pick the right one for your needs. Our experience in our research and reviews of the XMark products have only been positive so far and they seem to offer competitive prices for great quality, functionality, ergonomics and ease of use. You will get decent warranties on both the bar and the plate (please refer to Amazon product page for more information by the seller) and reliable customer support that will respond to your queries promptly. Price to performance ratio is pretty good for both products and they are worth considering if you’re in the market for such a combo for your home gym needs (not commercial).
