The built-in display panel shows the standard indicators of distance, calories burned, time spent, strokes, strokes per minute and pulse rate monitoring via the integrated wireless pulse receiver but the chest strap is not included and you need to get it separately. It has a solid and sturdy construction with a durable aluminum and steel frame and the maximum user weight capacity is 300 pounds, weighs 92 pounds and measures 87 x 21.5 x 23 inches. Being a heavy duty and solid rower it is not a particularly lightweight or small unit but has transportation wheels to be moved around easily and has an almost foldable design with a disconnect pin in the middle (unplug the wires and pull the pin).
Sunny SF-RW5508 has a large, nicely padded and comfortable seat with dimensions of 12 x 15 x 2.5 inches and anti-slip handles. With the 10 levels of resistance through the tension knob, you can adjust the intensity and challenge of your exercise and you can control and work within your target heart rate zone with the pulse monitoring. It includes good size anti-slip pedals and adjustable straps for your security- as you can see in the photos. Like other rowers, it is not just designed for losing weight but also for targeting your back, triceps, biceps, glutes and core section- abdominals. Like any of the other Sunny Health and Fitness products, you get good performance and quality for the price, it is a relatively affordable rower and you’re definitely getting more than what you pay for. Please note that the LCD display shows the distance etc. in kilometers and not in miles or yards. Rowing feels smooth overall and runs quietly too with the noisiest part being the seat going back and forth on the frame, it has a solid feel overall, especially on the metal parts but not so much the plastic bits around the display panel, but it’s OK as this is designed for personal use at home and not commercial. It is often shipped quickly via Amazon.com and easy to put together and warranty included by the manufacturer is one year for the frame and 90 days on the replacement parts.
