Yellow and Black Atlas Power Rack Squat Deadlift Cage

Yellow and Black Atlas Power Rack Squat Deadlift Cage with Bench Racks

Yellow and black Atlas Power Rack “Squat and Deadlift Cage with Bench Racks” is very solid and sturdy, made of heavy duty steel with a large walk-in design to give you heaps more space (56 x 48 inches in total) and that can have a weight load of up to 800 pounds but still lightweight and with spotter catches that can carry more than 500 pounds.

It is offered at a very reasonable competitive price- better value than any other in the price range. It comes with a 1 inch round steel chrome plated security and short pins with a lock-on design that are protected against scratching, 28 positions to give it great versatility and removable J-hooks. It is easy enough to assemble in about a couple of hours max and lightweight (total of 137 pounds and shipped in two boxes) despite being very sturdy.

With a very impressive 800 pound weight limit it will have to be one of the lowest cost / best value power racks on the market. It has a slightly short construction so the rack’s ceiling is not very high so you may possibly hit the top at times if you are very tall- it measures 44 x 48 x 83 inches so it is 83 inches tall and you have 26 inches between the two yellow bars for the inside workout space- you need about 59 x 48 inches of floor space for this unit. Atlas Rack includes two pre-drilled holes at the top and two at the bottom for the lat attachment.

Welds on J-hooks are reported to be not very smooth so you may occasionally hear metal noise when you rack the bar (but they are removable so you can switch between front and back posts and as they are connected to safety pins they are safer than the standard J-hooks). And there is no numbering of the holes.

But when you think about how solid this power rack is without costing a fortune, these don’t appear to be drawbacks at all. It includes 28 holes on each of the 4 bars and each hole is 2 inch apart so you can adjust the racks as you wish to accommodate different exercises and heights. You even have two plate holders at the rear for stability and convenient storage purposes.

There are a few exercises you can do with this power rack, including bench press, shrugs, curls, military press, squats, chin ups (1.25 inch bar with nice grip with knurling at the top) and other total body exercises in a large area with a lot of side-to-side movement. You may also purchase weight holder, lat and dip attachments, long safety bars, very short pegs and HD J-Hooks and you probably need a solid weight bench if you already don’t have one. This is a very heavy duty rack that feels very sturdy and firm without any wobbling, swaying or flexing and with plenty of holes giving you flexibility, it will feel like you are at the gym.
