The Bowflex BXT216 has a bit more powerful 4 horsepower motor, a large 9-inch backlit LCD display, a two-inch larger running belt that measures 22 x 60 inches, a total of 11 workout programs and all the other great features of the smaller BXT116. They are both designed for running, jogging and walking with generous size exercise surfaces. The BXT116 Treadmill includes a 3.75 hp motor, 9 preset programs for 4 individual users, a 7.5-inch color LCD display, and a 20 x 60 inches of surface deck.
The silicon buttons on the panel are LED color lit and comfy to touch. They come with the built-in Bluetooth that lets you use the Results Series Application for setting and monitoring your workout progress, and the great RunSocial app you can synchronize the unit with, that lets you jog or run on 27 routes of 19 different locations with your mates and in real time. Both have the 15% motorized incline to help increase the intensity of your session.
The Push and Go preset programs are easy and intuitive or you can choose to set your own program. They come with a very large media rack with a USB charger for you to charge your smartphone and other devices easily and view 
their screens at the same time. There is an automatic 3-speed fan to help keep you cool during your session. With the telemetry enabled chest strap or with the integrated heart sensors at the front you shall stay in your target heart rate zone.
You have the MP3 player and the built-in in-console stereo speakers for you to enjoy your music during your workout. The Comfort Tech Deck Suspension Technology absorbs impact very well- is great for a low-impact workout, where your joints are not burdened as much. The total calories you’re burning per minute is shown with the Burn meter on the display panel. With the single touch speed button you can change the speed to up to 12 miles per hour, and change the incline up to 15%.
The Soft Drop Design ensures safe and soft descent thanks to the gas shock folding mechanism. You can fold and unfold it very easily and roll it on its transport wheels. The BTX116 weighs 309 pounds with a user weight capacity of 375 pounds and measures 84.6 x 36.3 x 55.2 inches. It measures 52.5″ L x 36.3″ W x 67″ H as folded. It is very solid and durable, has a powerful motor but runs quietly, is easy to use, comes with all the bells and whistles and is offered at a fair price if you have the budget for it.
