Sunny Health and Fitness SF-RB4616 is a brand new release, budget priced recumbent bike with an easily adjustable large and comfortable seat and a handle underneath that is easy to get to while seated to adjust the seat conveniently. Both the seat and the backrest are large and nicely cushioned for your comfort during long workout sessions. It also comes with the self-levelling pedals that are anti-slip and that include adjustable straps for security. Self-leveling means you will be able to easily put your feet on pedals in the straps. The seat can be adjusted forward and backward with the handle under it, and you do not have to get up to do it as you can easily reach it with your right hand.
You will find a tension knob at the front with a simple twist, under the LCD display and handle and like most fitness bikes these days, you have 8 levels of magnetic resistance for varying degrees of difficulty and challenge. There are three buttons- Set, Mode and Reset and the small LCD panel has a simplistic yet modern design for a low-cost bike and includes Time, Distance, Speed, Calories, Scan, ODOmeter and Pulse parameters. For those that are not familiar with these indicators, Scan option lets you see each of the main indicators continuously repeated every 9 seconds or so, ODOmeter shows the total distance since the very first use of this bike and Pulse is connected to the sensors on the handlebars on both sides of the seat and will help you stay within your target heart rate zone (monitor and maintain it) as a good indication of the intensity of your workout, so you can burn more calories and fat and get more out of your exercise session (the longer you keep you heart rate up, the more fat you will burn).
Sunny SF-RB4616 Bike looks nice and modern in black and silver, weighs 59 pounds with the measurements of 54.5 x 26 x 39.5 inches and a maximum user weight capacity of 300 pounds. The inseam height can be adjusted between a minimum of 26 inches and a maximum of 33.9 inches. It is fairly long, being the “recumbent” type and doesn’t have a foldable design but has the wheels at the front so you can just tilt and roll away conveniently for storage without having to lift it.
