You’ll get it completely assembled and you won’t need to do anything extra. You can just remove it from the package and use it straight away. It may be purchased with or without the back pillow with no significant price difference. The included back cushion can be moved up and down on the bench wherever it feels most comfy at the time.
The seat can be adjusted to flat, incline and decline positions and you can use it for the regular flat bench press, incline press, decline press, military press and for sit ups. It is a compact but full size bench that is about 18 inches high off the floor and the backrest width is 9 inches at the top, 12 inches in the center and 11 inches at the bottom where you put your lower back. The back is 31.5 inches long and the seat is 14.5 inches with a 2″ gap between the two. Very tall adults up to about 6’3″ – 6’4″ can use it comfortably.
